Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh decided to establish the Central Steering Committee for national target programs for the period 2021 - 2025 (Central Steering Committee).

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh shall be the Head of the Central Steering Committee.
Deputy Heads of the Central Steering Committee include: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, and Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
Members of the Central Steering Committee include: Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Tran Van Son (Permanent Member); Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang; Minister of Finance Nguyen Van Thang; Minister of Agriculture and Environment Do Duc Duy; Minister of Ethnic Minority and Religion Dao Ngoc Dung; Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung; Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy.
The Central Steering Committee shall assist the Prime Minister in directing and resolving general tasks related to management and organization of the implementation of national target programs in the period of 2021 - 2025.
The Central Steering Committee shall be responsible for studying and advising the Prime Minister on directions and solutions for managing and organizing the implementation of national target programs.
The Central Steering Committee shall also be in charge of assisting the Prime Minister in evaluating the results of the implementation of national target programs in the period of 2021 - 2025.
National target programs are comprehensive, government-led initiatives, targeting to address key socio-economic challenges and promote sustainable development across the country. These programs focus on areas such as rural development, poverty reduction, and cultural enhancement./.
