Pakistan offers free e-visa to Vietnamese tourists, businessmen
From August 14, 2024, tourists and business travelers from Viet Nam can apply for free e-visa to visit Pakistan.
This is part of Pakistan's latest visa policy to offer free e-visa to 126 countries to boost tourism and attract foreign investment, Pakistani Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, Culture and National Heritage Attaullah Tarar said on Tuesday.
According to the minister, the nationals from these countries would get their visa within 10 minutes after filling an online form which had only 30 questions compared to nearly 100 as previously.
Pakistan and Viet Nam have always enjoyed a pleasant relationship underpinned by shared values of friendship, peace, and development. Both nations celebrated the completion of 50 years of the bilateral relationship in 2022 in a very befitting manner and organized several activities and events.
So far, Vietnamese passport holders can enter 56 destinations around the world without the need to apply for a visa or with simplified visa procedures, including visa issuance at the border or through electronic check-in./.
