At the meeting, Foxconn representatives provided an overview of the Group’s development, global production network, operations in Vietnam and development strategy for the coming years.
As a world-leading technology group in electronics manufacturing, Foxconn currently operates in 24 countries and territories. Since entering Vietnam in 2007, the Group has gradually expanded its operations across multiple localities, with Bac Ninh serving as one of its key production hubs. To date, Foxconn has implemented 22 projects in Bac Ninh, creating jobs for approximately 140,000 workers and making significant contributions to the city's industrial development, exports and economic growth.
Alongside expanding its manufacturing operations, Foxconn is accelerating its transition towards high-tech industries. Under its “3+3+3” strategy, the Group is focusing on three industries – electric vehicles, digital healthcare and robotics; three core technologies – artificial intelligence, semiconductors and next-generation communications; and promoting smart manufacturing, smart electric vehicles and smart cities.

He expressed his hope that Foxconn would continue expanding its production operations while becoming more deeply involved in technology development, connecting local businesses with the Group’s supply chains and cooperating in the training of highly skilled human resources.

Bac Ninh is firmly committed to improving its investment and business environment, completing technical infrastructure, accelerating administrative reforms and proactively coordinating to resolve outstanding difficulties and obstacles, thereby creating the most favourable conditions for Foxconn and other businesses to expand production and achieve sustainable, long-term development.
